WE HAVE SELECTED A CONSULTANT OR TOWN COUNCIL.
HAVE NEXT MEETING WILL PUT IT ON THE AGENDA AS PART OF THE PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT PROCESS.
ONE OF THE RECOMMENDATION IS TO FORM A STEERING COMMITTEE FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.
THE STEERING COMMITTEE, THE CONSULTANT, HAS PROVIDED US SOME BASIC INFORMATION ON THE ROLE, AND THE COMPOSITION OF THE COMMITTEE WOULD BE TWO MEMBERS, FROM TOWN COUNCIL TO MEMBERS FROM PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION, AND THEN OVERALL ABOUT EIGHT OTHER MEMBERS, COMMUNITY MEMBERS AT TOWN COUNCIL WILL APPOINT.
SO AT THE UPCOMING JULY 14TH MEETING, THAT'S WHEN I'LL PRESENT THAT INFORMATION TO TOWN COUNCIL SO THAT THEY CAN SELECT TWO OF THEIR PEERS, AS WELL AS APPOINT THE OTHER COMMUNITY MEMBERS.
THAT WAY, THE COMMISSIONERS CAN THINK ON THEIR OWN AND THINK HOW MUCH TIME COMMITMENT THEY'RE LOOKING AT, AND GIVE US SOME RECOMMENDATION ON WHICH TWO OF YOUR PEERS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE REPRESENTING ON THE STEERING COMMITTEE.
SO ANY OF THE SPECIAL MEETINGS RELATED TO THE STEERING COMMITTEE, THAT'S AN ADDITIONAL.
